Description: This collage on canvas is part of a series based on dichos, or Mexican proverbs. The mosaic-style pattern contains images from a Mexican board game “Serpientes y Escaleras” (Serpents and Stairs, reminiscent of Chutes and Ladders) that I saw children playing graveside during Dia de los Muertos.
